Gallery of Gifts: A Holiday Art Showcase at Create Gallery & Frames

The holidays are almost here and at Create Gallery and Frames, we’re celebrating the season with something truly magical. The scent of cocoa and mulled wine in the air and the sound of friends chatting over art and handmade treasures. That’s exactly the atmosphere we’re creating this year for our Gallery of Gifts, happening November 28 through December 13 in Garden City, Idaho.

For two cozy weeks, our gallery will transform into a winter showcase filled with original art and handcrafted items made by 13 incredible artists. From small treasures to collectible art, our holiday showcase offers something for every style and budget:

Prints & Fine Art • Greeting Cards • Mugs • Coasters • Jewelry & Accessories • Frames • Phone Cases • Small Originals & Minis • And more...

Everything is handmade or created in small batches by our artists- the perfect way to give a gift that’s personal, thoughtful, and truly one-of-a-kind.

This event isn’t just about shopping- it’s about celebrating art and connection. Every corner of the gallery will be dressed for the season: golds, whites, and blacks and displays that make you want to stay a little longer. Visitors can sip something warm, discover new artists, and find gifts that feel personal and meaningful; no big-box chaos here, just art and community in its happiest form.

And this year, there’s a brand-new addition we’re extra excited about: our 2026 Create Gallery and Frames Collectors Calendar. Each month features artwork from our talented roster, current and past, thoughtfully curated to bring inspiration all year long. Even better- 100% of the proceeds from calendar sales will be donated to a local nonprofit, making each one a gift that gives back. This is a limited run, so pick yours up early!

Every day of Gallery of Gifts brings something special. It all kicks off on November 28 with our Black & White Friday, a CGAF twist on the usual shopping frenzy "Black Friday"- complete with a free gift for qualifying purchases and a hot cocoa bar to keep things cozy. The cocoa bar continues November 29, because honestly, one day just isn’t enough.

On December 5, we’ll join the Garden City First Friday celebration- one of the biggest nights of the event. The gallery will be buzzing with multiple artists, art lovers, and plenty of festive cheer (and if you’ve heard rumors of a big Christmas party that night… you might want to save the date).

The next morning, December 6, we’re hosting our Sip and Shop from 10am-1pm, a relaxed way to spend your Saturday with mimosas, holiday treats, and good company. Then, as the event winds down on December 12 and 13, we’ll turn up the charm with a Hot Cocoa and Mulled Wine weekend, perfect for finding those last-minute gifts and soaking in the season.

Throughout the showcase, guests can enjoy artist talks, demos, and interviews, both in person and on Zoom. You’ll have the chance to see the creative process up close, hear stories behind the art, and meet the makers who pour their heart into every piece. These sessions bring the art to life in a way that makes shopping at Gallery of Gifts feel like so much more than a transaction- it’s an experience.

And, of course, there will be little surprises sprinkled throughout the event: Custom wrapping, freebies, and exclusive discounts/coupons.
