How the Meridian Fine Art Festival Showed the Strength of Idaho's Art Community

This past weekend at the Meridian Fine Art Festival, Mother Nature had different plans.

Strong winds, heavy rain, and severe weather swept through the Treasure Valley Friday night, leaving artists wondering what they would find when they returned the next morning. Tents were damaged, displays were disrupted, and many exhibitors faced the possibility of a weekend they had spent months preparing for being cut short.

But what unfolded over the next two days wasn't a story about bad weather.

It was a story about community.
