We’ve been steadily adding to CGAF Talks, our space for stories, reflections, and features that bring you closer to the artists and ideas shaping our gallery. If you’ve missed any of our recent posts, here’s what’s waiting for you:

Custom framing is now fully up and running at the gallery! With a wide range of mat and frame options and a professional eye for detail, our team is here to help you frame what matters.

🎨 Workshops, Artists & More

Beyond the gallery walls, our artist-led workshops are a vibrant part of what we offer. These creative sessions are designed for all experience levels and offer a hands-on way to connect with local artists. Upcoming classes include:

• Hat Tattooing with Jennifer Parks

• Beginner Acrylic Painting with Danica Factor

• Silk Painting with Svitlana Prouty

We also recently hosted a virtual artist talk with Stephen Rybacki during Garden City’s First Friday. Stephen joined us via Zoom to share insights into his creative process and the stories behind his work, which has been featured in multiple exhibitions, television shows, commercials, and films. The evening offered a unique opportunity for guests to connect with his perspective and learn more about the journey behind his cinematic style and layered compositions.

*Keep an eye out for new workshops and events (both in person and online)- they fill quickly and are a wonderful way to learn something new while supporting local talent!

🛍️ What’s New Inside the Gallery

As we grow, so does our collection- and we’re proud to now feature:

• Multiple new artists, including our first exhibiting photographer

• A curated collection of smaller, approachable works, including tattooed hats, handmade jewelry, custom coloring books, and photography prints

• The upcoming launch of our online storefront, allowing you to view and purchase art from anywhere

While the gallery continues to evolve, there are a few things you can always count on at CGAF. Our curated roster of featured artists is one of them- while names and collections may shift, we remain committed to showcasing powerful, original work by artists we believe in. We’re currently proud to feature nine artists:

Leo Bratenas, Richard Serros, Thomas Van Stein, Svitlana Prouty, Javier Moreno, Katinka Van Dyk, Stephen Rybacki, Alejandra Blanco, and Jaymz Maurer.

We’ve also kept our Cozy Corner interactive room available for visitors seeking a more personal viewing experience. Whether you want to see a piece in a softer light or just take a quiet moment to connect with the work, the Cozy Corner offers an inviting, reflective space to do just that.
